SMP Collaborates with DCNR

SMP has collaborated with the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources for nearly 10 years on multiple projects located within State Parks and State Forests throughout the state.

The collaboration continues with an expanded Environmental Education Center at Frances Slocum State Park (under construction), an office building replacement for Poe Valley State Park (construction documents in progress), and an expansion of the office and environmental learning center at Bald Eagle State Park (currently completing design development). Small projects are also underway for Codorus State Park and Greenwood Furnace State Park. Previous collaborations include the Nature Inn at Bald Eagle State Park, the office and visitor center at Ohiopyle State Park, and a resource management center at Tiadaghton State Forest.
